MAIN IMPELLER & DRIVE: The main impeller consists of a double-speed 750/5000 synchronous dual HP TEFC motor, joined through a belt drive to a worm reduction gearbox with sequence coupling. The impeller is considered to provide mixing at the bottom and the center of the bowl and is driven through an especially designed bearing housing that services the inside wash facility for rapid change over and also prevents leakage of powder from bottom entry and leads to longer life of gearbox.

CHOPPER: The chopper drive consists of a double HP Double speed (1440/2800 synchronous speed) TEFC MOTOR. The motor shaft is for S.S. and the chopper has a particularly designed 4-blade S.S. Impeller. The shaft is essential for the motor. The assembly is attached horizontally to the bowl.

DISCHARGE PORT: The discharge port is mounted parallel to the bowl with a vertical sliding opening. The opening is operated by a pneumatic cylinder and discharge can be controlled for required opening.
MOUNTING: A sturdy M.S. The channel frame is cast-off to house the drive assembly at the bottom. The bowl is mounted on the peak. A S.S. staircase and barriers are provided for the platform. The platform is partially covered with S.S., dimpled plates. For the safe driving of the operator, the area under the bowl is covered with S.S. The entire body is covered from the sides by proper S.S. covers.
MAIN PANEL: The leading panel consists of all renovated connections and it has only to be joined to the electrical supply. The paths consist of MCCB and the relay. Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for calm recognition.

  • The circuit is provided with interlock contactors so that the chopper cannot operate directly, or independently.
  • Discharge plunger provided with 3 position solenoid valves to open and close at desired levels, thereby regulating the discharge and preventing discharge of large lumps.
  • The pneumatic circuit is provided with a nonreturn valve and water inlet. /Outlet connections to facilitate washing of the main impeller assembly without dismantling, to facilitate faster changeover.
