Basis of Design.

The Tube Filling Machine is designed for filling and sealing laminate tubes, aluminium tubes, and plastic tubes, particularly for semi-solid products.

The Tube Filling Machine operates automatically to fill laminate tubes, aluminium tubes, or plastic tubes with semi-solid products such as cream, gel, and ointment. It seals the bottom of the tube with the filled product using a heat sealer or crimper. Tubes are manually fed into the tube feeder, where they are transferred through a single chute and inverted. The rotation wheel moves the tube to the dosing station, where the semi-solid product, prepared in the manufacturing suite, is supplied to the filling machine nozzle via a vacuum or sanitary pump. The tube is filled with an adjustable volume of product before being moved to the seal station. The bottom of the tube is sealed using a heat sealer or laminate crimper. The sealed tube is then conveyed out of the machine downstream by the transport system.

Tube Feeder

  • The tube filling machine shall be aimed to allow the manual filling of tubes ergonomically into the magazine with automatic tube feeding into the treating station.
  • The tube shall be systematically fed to the dosing station and placed in a vertical position. The open bottom adjacent to the tube is up.

Dosing Station

  • The tube shall be inside cleaned by flexible air blow and dust aspiration device by vacuum.
  • A terminal filter shall be used for the compacted air to the cleaning station.
  • The semi-solid product shall be delivered from a mobile vessel or vat to the heated hopper by using a vacuum or sanitary pump vital with the filling machine with a minimum quantity of product remaining inside the vessel for the accomplishment of filling.
  • The heated hopper with scraper shall be used to keep uniformity and consistent temperature of the product.
  • An adjuster shall be used for the central dosing volume modification. The dosing volume as well as the dosing speed shall be adjusted at the effective terminal.
  • The dosing station shall automatically distinguish and alert the operator if any dosing station has lost a tube.

Sealing Station
